Lead and Copper Inventory
Samish Farms Water has completed its inventory of drinking water pipes, which was required to be completed by October 2024 to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) requirements related to lead and copper in local water systems. All water service lines have been determined to be non-lead for the purposes of the inventory. The review of the system has not identified any lead service lines or "galvanized requiring replacement" service lines, and the inventory does not contain any "lead status unknown" service lines. Most water service lines in the system are plastic.
